Another “con” of 1PasswOrd is that The deSktop App will only install on a 64-Bit machine if you havE A windows. They Don’t tell you thAt until after you input all your inforMation.

Most of those kinds of apps require a periodic sign-in and then you can use TouchID or FaceID after that. 1Password will help you with those periodic sign ins and then it won’t get in the way when the app uses bio-metrics to sign you in. Make sense?

How does 1password interact with that when starting an app Requiring sign in?

Yea, this feature has existed but in my experience it’s never worked well. The number of websites that it works on are very, very few.

Hey Josh, I know Dashlane has a beta of an auto-change feature, pressing the button beside the website, auto-loggin in and changing the password for you. This seems to only be available on specific websites but it does work. I also read another manager did it, wasn’t sure if it was LastPass or 1Password.

Yes, you can. You can click “Reveal Password” or even “Copy Password” to get the password out.

Unfortunately that’s not possible for any password manager, much less 1Password. Most online logins require you to manually go in and change the password.

The actual characters, not a line of dots.\

I hear you, Brett. It’s definitely more important than ever to create stronger passwords.
